  CNC MACHINIST - CLASS A - JOB # 5711

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Operates all equipment in the Machine Shop, including but not limited to Lathes and Milling Machines.
  • Programs and sets up all machines without assistance from a Leadman except for unusually complex jobs.
  • Cooperates and provides information to co-workers and customers when asked technical questions.
  • Assists co-workers with technical assistance on set ups, tool grinding, interpreting blue prints, etc.
  • Maintains accurate and legible individual time sheets, as well as, production time records on all projects and jobs.
  • Wears prescribed safety equipment and observes all safety rules and regulations.
  • Measures parts using measuring instruments typically found in a Machine Shop.
  • Maintains a clean and organized work area.
JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • Must have a minimum of five (5) years machining experience.
  • Must be capable of lifting 60 pounds on a continuous basis.
  • Must be able to bend, lift, stoop, and kneel.
  • Must be proficient in the use of machinist tools.
  • Must be capable of reading and comprehending complex blue prints. 
WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Machine Shop Environment.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Technical Trade School Certification helpful.

 

  

 ELECTRICIAN - CLASS A - JOB # 4811

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist in the repair and maintenance of all plant and equipment electrical systems.
  • Work on plant electrical distribution systems, including distribution panels, ducts, disconnects and transformers.
  • Work on complex machine control systems including relay or solid state logic.
  • Determine sources of problems and take corrective action.
  • Ensure that electrical installations are made in accordance with applicable codes.
  • Wear prescribed safety equipment and observe all safety policies.
JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • Must have a working knowledge of 480 volts.
  • Must be capable of reading schematics and troubleshooting existing equipment to facilitate the repair in an effective and safe manner.
  • Must be able to use all standard testing meters and instruments related to this position.
  • Must be able to lift 40 lbs on a continuous basis.
WORKING CONDITIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

 MECHANIC - CLASS B - JOB # 4814

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform repairs, maintenance and preventive maintenance of plant equipment to include electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic.
  • Report to Maintenance Supervisor conditions observed for evaluation and scheduling.
  • Assist Mechanic - Class A in troubleshooting equipment breakdown, determining the failure, and making proper repair.
  • Perform repeated breakdown repairs.
  • Perform cuts and welds when necessary.
  • Wear prescribed safety equipment and observe safety policies.
JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • Must have personal hand tools as required.
  • Must have working knowledge of cutting and welding.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with others.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a continuous basis.

ELECTRICAL ENGINEER - JOB # 4023

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform all aspects of aspects of assignments requiring knowledge and application of engineering principles.
  • Apply engineering principles to various phases of production for the improvment of safety, production efficeny and product quality using cost effective measures.
  • Document all engineering designs, drawings, processes, etc. according to relevant ISO 9001 and best practice procedures.
  • Prepare engineering calculations, construction drawings, and project specifications.
  • Design electrical systems utilizing computer aided engineering software (AutoCAD).
  • Assist in developing capital project programs for new equipment and major repairs.
  • Conduct design reviews, report status, and participate in project meetings as required.
  • Oversee key projects, processes and performance reports, data, and analysis.
  • Review vendor source control drawings, specification control drawings and other applicable specifications to determine requirements and/or feasibility of the component.
  • Interact with production personnel to define and solve manufacturing/design issues and implement cost reduction ideas with regard to our products.
  • Interact with vendors concerning parts they supply or propose to supply to the company.
  • Coordinate as required with internal groups including purchasing, quality control, sales, production, accounting personnel, metal finishing, and maintenance.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing.
JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • Knowledge of national, state, and local laws, as well as, regulations related to development and operations.
  • Knowledge of national, state, and local zoning ordiances and codes.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents.
  • Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
  • Must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Must be able to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Must be proficient in Computer Aided Design using AutoCAD.
  • Must be able to apply advanced mathmatical concepts and operations when necessary.
  • Must have a working knowledge of Allen Bradley Controls, RS Logic, and Ladder Logic Programming.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering required.

 WELDER - CLASS B - JOB # 4831

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Read blueprints and shop drawings as necessary to complete project as assigned.
  • Select welding process and rod for ferrous and non ferrous material.
  • Use gas, electric, and inert gas welding techniques to the highest standards of quality.
  • Establish currents, levels, gas pressures, as well as rod size and type.
  • Operate powered equipment such as job hoists, air grinders, and drills.
  • Use standard measuring devices as required.
JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • Ability to read shop drawings and blueprints beneficial.
  • Ability to use standard measuring devices.
  • Must pass welding qualification test.
  • Must be able to lift 60 lbs on a continuous basis.
  • Must be able to work in high places and climb ladders.
  • Must be able to work in extreme heat and cold temperatures.
  • Must be able to work in confined spaces.
